Gambling within the Uk is highly regulated and there are Trade Associations set up to help the people working,running and playing within the industry.

Association of British Bookmakers Association of British Bookmakers is the trade association representing bookmakers in Great Britain.The ABB's objective is to help create and sustain conditions in which socially responsible British bookmakers can compete and prosper.

Bingo Association The Bingo Association is the trade association of the licensed bingo industry in Great Britain, representing the proprietors of bingo clubs licensed under the Gaming Act 1968. The purpose of The Bingo Association is to promote and develop the interests of the licensed bingo industry and to represent members interests in contacts with third parties, in particular with various government departments, other trade associations and the media.

BACTA – British Amusement Catering Trades Association BACTA is the voice of the pay-to-play lesiure industry representing all divisions from large manufacturers through to small seaside arcades. It aims to improve the image of the industry, encourage good practice, and create an optimal trading enviroment for all sectors. It also encourages a voluntary Code of Practice which clearly defines responsible working practices.

BBOA – British Betting Office Association The British Betting Office Association is the leading trade association for independent bookmakers in the UK.

BCA – British Casino Association The British Casino Association (BCA) is the trade association for the casino industry in Great Britain, with the operators of over 90% of the British casinos as members. Representing the membership of Britain's licensed casinos, the BCA provides a powerful voice in negotiations with various government departments, the media and other trade associations.

Department for Culture, Media and Sport The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is responsible for the law regulating UK gambling.
